58th Thessaloniki International Film Festival - Non/Catalogue

Original artworks by Greek artists inspired by the first or second films by young directors are guided by the philosophical thought of Simone Weil (specifically her work The Need for Roots). This edition reminds us of the elective affinity between arts. This Non-Catalogue includes texts on the work of Ruben Östlund, the magical world of Ildikó Enyedi, the fearless Ida Lupino, the favorite films by Efthymis Filippou, as well as some post-weird notes on the new wave of Greek cinema.
