FANT SM S

The great tribute of the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival to the symbolic forms that “haunt” world cinema is accompanied by a special bilingual thematic edition. The book contains a curatorial note by the program’s guest curator Dennis Lim, extended analyses by film scholars and filmmakers, brief reviews of the films comprising the tribute, and a unique presentation of the “FANT SM S” exhibition. The main artistic event of the Festival, which showcases works by four influential Greek visual artists (Nikos Kessanlis, Vlasis Caniaris, Celia Daskopoulou, and Jason Molfessis) as well as photographic comments by Dimitris Tsoumplekas, is framed by the curatorial note of Orestis Andreadakis.
